Constantia Valley Grape Run. For the nature and wine lovers, this race is run over a beautiful route in the Western Cape. The course takes one through a series of vineyards, specifically the historic wine farms of Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Constantia Uitsig. The exciting 14km route follows most of the standard Grape Run route, but it will only include the lower sections of the vineyards, still giving participants the opportunity to run in one of the most beautiful areas of Cape Town. The WARRIOR Race is South Africa’s largest obstacle course race series. It’s a fun challenge that caters from the rather unfit to the extremely fit, with various physically challenging obstacles. This year it will be held on 21-22 October, at Meerendal wine estate. The series is all about promoting an active, healthy lifestyle, with an emphasis on the importance of being brave. The three categories are:
Rookie: 5 km, 15 obstacles;
Commando: 10km, 20 obstacles;
Black ops: 15km, 30 obstacles

10km peace walk/run. Join the global community of thousands of people in countries across the world, who traditionally come together to run 10km races to commemorate the United Nation’s International Day of Peace on 17th of September 2017. This run is open to all runners, ranging across elite athletes to social runners / walkers. The one hour 50-minute cut-off time can accommodate walkers, so don’t worry if you’re not a regular runner. Gun Run This well-known marathon will commence on Sunday 8 October, with three categories to choose from: a 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km. Those who are feeling competitive can try for winning prize money! This run will take place at the beach front in Greenpoint, Cape Town. Its loads of fun for the whole family, and young participants and walkers are welcome. Visit for more information.
