FUTURELIFE® has three products in their Smart Food™ range: Original, High Protein and Zero. I will only be discussing the Smart Food™ Original, as this is what I have used for some time now.

The product can be used as a meal replacement in the form of a porridge or as a shake. I preferred to have it as a shake because of my lifestyle and schedule. As a university student, one does not usually have a lot of time for anything apart from academics, societies and the occasional night out (wink, wink). When it comes to eating healthy on such a tight schedule (and budget), it can get quite tough. So, I would make a shake in the morning before going to campus and have it on the Jammie or in my first lecture of the day. I would then last until meridian without feeling hungry or as if my energy levels were dipping dangerously low. After a full day of campus activities, I would get home and make another shake, since I had last eaten about four or five hours before. This would take me to dinnertime.

The original flavour is my favourite. I can’t stomach the other flavours so the Original is always best. Smart Food™ is ultra-convenient! Don’t feel like cooking? Make a shake! Need a snack? Make a shake! In terms of nutritional value, I would say that it has a lot of ingredients that sound like they do wonderful things. What attracted me to this product was that it is made from non-GMO raw ingredients.
